During the later 50's and early 60's I used this pub a fair bit as i lived very nearly opposite in 4 Ladbroke Road.I was in my late teens early twenties at the time.

I lived in the locomotive from 1949 till 1955. Maurice are you related to wendy.

Lived up from pub, 55 Ladbroke Road, stayed until I was 20, then went to USA.

My grandfather and grandmother (Maurice & Maria Gammon) ran this pub from 1910's to 1940's and my dad (Beau) was born there.

Hi Maureen , not sure if you will see this or not but Maurice Bursby is my dad and Wendy is my aunty/his sister.
Sadly he lost his battle to cancer in 2012.

We lived at no 49 Ladbroke Road from 1938 until 2017. I remember the big black dog sleeping outside in the late 70's
