Saturday 05 May 2012 21:36:00. Attending a wedding recently in the church I was struck by the depiction of heaven and hell by Dante. Hell looked very fearsome, and with a shiver I looked across to the opposite wall where there was an effigy of Christ on the Cross with 'two arms outstretched to save' . How I thank God for Christs death on the cross for all who believe to save us from the horrors of that coming judgement. |
